Della (Young) Jagla

Della Waldoch (Young) Jagla, age 89, of Menasha, passed peacefully into the arms of angels on January 12, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones. Della was born October 1, 1927 to Peter and Monica (Kropidlowski) Waldoch. Della's primary focus in life was her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha.

Della most enjoyed time spent with her family. She also enjoyed baking, playing cribbage, singing, knitting, playing bingo, and travelling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 25 years, Darwin Young and her husband of 19 years, William Jagla; along with sisters: Bernice Bartell, Marian Matsche, Jeanette Heimlich, and two infant brothers.

She is survived by her children: Daniel (Kathy) Young of Suring; Judi (Tim) Bradt of Menasha; Jane (Jim) Pilarski of Menasha; Sue (Dean) Charlier of Greenville; Sheri Heimlich of Appleton, grandchildren: Yolanda (Levi), Demario (Brandi), Erica (Scott), Jeremy (Patti), Suzy (Mark) and Joe (Molly); great-grandchildren: Madisen, Cameron, Brooklyn and Olivia; one brother Richard Waldoch, as well as many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Della will be on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd in Menasha with Fr. Jim Hablewitz and Mary Krueger, Pastoral Associate officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Prairie Home, especially Megan, Nancy, Ruth Ann, Cadence, Tanya, Tia, Leah, Ali, Karen, Deb and Libby. Also, a special thank you to all the staff and nurses at Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care given to Della.
