Della A. Borre

Della A. (Reminger) (Schaefer) Borre, age 95, of Kaukauna, passed away on December 15, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, due to Covid-19. Della was born on March 12, 1925 in Leopolis, Wisconsin to the late Joseph J. and Mary (Steinke) Reminger. She attended Leopolis High School and later finished her education at a Wisconsin technical college. She worked for many years as an accounting clerk, eventually retiring from Johnson Controls in Milwaukee. On June 30, 1947 Della married Joe Schaefer and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1964. On April 8, 2006 she was united in marriage to Dick Borre and he then preceded her in death on April 24, 2011.

Della was a fun person with a great sense of humor. She loved her family and enjoyed get togethers and holiday gatherings. She also loved playing cards, golf and bingo as well as dancing. She enjoyed travel and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Joe Reminger of Shawano, Marge Zillmer of Colorado and Judy (Ron) Kazda of Menasha as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, siblings John (Joyce) Reminger and Janet (Clarence) Erdman, brother-in-law Bud Zillmer and sister-in-law Alta Reminger.
