Debra K. Jochman

October 16, 1966 — February 28, 2015

Debbie Jochman, age 48 of Appleton, passed away on Saturday morning, February 28, 2015, at her home embraced in the loving arms of her family. Debbie was born October 16, 1966 to Duane and Kathy Baehman. On October 18, 1986, she married Steve Jochman, and together shared twenty-eight wonderful years together. They were blessed with three children: Eric, Alex, and Rachel, who were her pride and joy. Nothing was more important to her than her family and friends, and she made sure each and every one knew how much they meant to her. Even though we wish we had more time with her, she has given us all a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories to cherish.
Debbie graduated from Menasha High School in 1985, and was employed by Appleton Papers as an executive assistant for many years. After her boys were born, she stayed home to care for her family and spend time with her children. She later returned to work with Kimberly Clark part-time, where she made many good friends. Over the years, Debbie could always be found on the sidelines of her boys' sporting events, camping and boating with family and friends, gardening and canning, and taking family vacations. She especially looked forward to the yearly family outings to Shawano Lake and Crooked Lake.

Debbie is survived by her husband: Steve, and their sons Eric and Alex; her parents: Duane and Kathy Baehman; a sister: Jamie (Greg) Van De Wiele and their children Mattea and Kiana; a brother: Craig (Jamie) Baehman and their children Kate and Ryan; and her maternal grandmother: Edna Koplien. She is further survived by Steve's parents: Melvin and Doris Jochman; his brother and sisters: Barb (Jeff) Hooyman and their daughters Jenny (Dan) Drum, and Danielle (Brandon) LaMaide (Tenley and Lydia); Lynn (Steve) Vandevoort and their children Ryan (Kari) Vandevoort (Austin), Julie (Casey) Whalen (Leah and Kayla); Judy (Bill) Ver Bust and their sons Matt (Kristin) and Tom (Leah); Jill Jochman; and Mike Jochman and his children Cole and Lauren. There are also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel; maternal grandfather Arden Koplien; paternal grandparents Bennie and Eileen Baehman; uncles Gary Baehman and Robert Koplien; and a niece Maleah Van De Wiele.
