Dear Sue, Kendra and family, We are all so saddened by Dean's passing. He has participated in DIAN research being poked, ex-rayed and questioned endlessly with complete willingness. He was all about the research for future generations especially Kendra's. Sue it was inspiring to see you two together with humor, love and determination to fight this fight. If it wasnt for people like you and Dean, the research would not have made the progress it has. It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Dean but Susan we are here for you. You will always be part of the DIAN family. We would have loved to have traveled to Dean's memorial but what a crazy time to die. I am so glad that arrangements were able to be made for Dean's most exceptional gift of his brain for research. Thinking of you always, Love Wendy

To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
