Age 64, died on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Cherry Meadows. Dawn was born on September 11, 1944 in Menominee, Michigan daughter of Carmon and Jeanne (Lehmann) Carlson. Dawn graduated from Neenah High School and went on to graduate from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in art. She belonged to the Orchid Society in Green Bay where she lived for a time, and the Watercolor Society in Madison. She taught water color art at the Madison Technical School. Dawn was an avid gardener and water color artist. She is survived by her 2 sons; Tadd and Corey Engblom both of Neenah, 2 sisters, Jill Carlson, Neenah, Lynn (Donald) Whyte, Arkansas, her mother, Jeanne, Appleton; her grandchildren, Damien, and Billy; a niece, Renee (David) Halverson, and a nephew, Rhett Weyenberg.

A celebration of Dawn's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, Menasha. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of services.
