David L. Henrikson

David L. Henrikson, age 73, of Sherwood, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1939, in Chicago, the son of the late Paul and Dagmar (Larson) Henrikson. David was an over the road truck driver with various companies. He retired from ANR Freight. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

David is survived by his son: David (Karen) Henrikson; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Daniel, Jonathan, Katherine, Benjamin, and Sarah; brothers: Carl Henrickson, Edwin Hendrickson, and Eric (Donna) Henrikson; and his brother-in-law: Jim Hall. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his sisters, Ingrid Henrikson and Ruth Hall; and brother, Nels Henrikson.

The funeral service for David will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County. Rev. Kurt Kovanen will be officiating. Interment will take place at High Cliff Cemetery in Sherwood. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
