Dave was my brother-in-law, husband of my only sister, and my friend. He attended my husband\'s funeral a short 5 months ago. I held Dave for the longest time and couldn\'t let go. It felt as if my husband were coming through to me by-way of Dave. My husband and Dave shared so many similarities in their lives, in addition to marrying the country girls from Brandon. Many times they would look at each other and nod, as if to say, "Yes, mine is just like yours." I know it was an endearment, though, because they both loved us with all their hearts, as we loved them. Our lives will be filled with so many happy memories. God bless his family. May they smile through their tears as they fondly remember all the wonderful years they spent with him.

Dave was great to our family. If I needed help he was always there all I had to do was to call. We have known him for only 9 years but he was like a father figure to my children, especially my oldest son, after I got divorced. We will miss him soooo much but he will be in our hearts always. My daughter Chelsea was asking why he had to die and I told her that I didn\'t know but that he was with Jesus. She sad "Yes" and then she thought about it for a moment and she said, "Dave was funny!" That is how she will remember him. I went to see my brother in N.C. one time and he was so worried about me breaking down on the highway that he gave me his cell phone to use if I got into trouble.
