Age 75, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Saturday, July 19, 2008. He was born in Fond du Lac on July 7, 1933 the son of the late Webster and Ilene (Davey) Hurst. On April 25, 1954 he married his wife of 54 years, Joan Miller. Davey was proud to serve in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Wisconsin. He worked for many years at Thilmany's, retiring in 1997. Davey loved working with wood. He will be remembered for loving his community and helping his neighbors.

Davey is survived by his wife, Joan; and many other family members and good friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tim.

A private family service will be held.
