Age 34, passed away unexpectedly at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 26, 2007. He was born on January 18, 1973 in Appleton to Melvin and Sandy (Hahn) Giebel. Dan enjoyed time with family and dear friends, the outdoors, camping, jet-skiing, motorcycles, working on cars, and spending time with his beloved dog, Harley.

In loving memory, Dan is survived by his two sons: Codey and Colton Giebel, Appleton; parents: Melvin and Sandy Giebel, Black Creek; brother, Jeff Giebel, Appleton; grandmother, Myrtle Hahn, Black Creek; fiancée, Melissa Priebe, Black Creek; Heather Giebel, the mother of his two sons, Appleton. Aunts and uncles: Dave and Kathy Hahn, Kimberly, Frank Leo and Joyce Giebel, Appleton, Marlys Giebel, Neenah; many cousins, and many, many great friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Howard Hahn; Grandma and Grandpa, Lydia (Giebel) and John Schmidt; Uncles Roy, Ralph, and Harold; and aunts Bev and Rosalie.

Funeral services for Dan will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 5:00 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street). Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:30 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
