As it said in the obituary, Dale was truly a special man, one we would not forget. There were well over 1,200 people who attended First Assembly with all of us and many will be forgotten. Not Dale. Dale did care about everyone he met and he is remembered as someone special Love Rick & Karen

Dear Debbie and family, I am so happy for Dale...He is where we all long to be, with the Lord (and Leah). But my heart breaks for your sorrow...a godly husband and father leaves a big hole. You have my prayers, and a very tender place in my heart. Lois
Ray and Syndi McGuire left a message on June 1, 2009:
To the family of Dale Nelson. We would like to start by telling you how much we cherished Dale's friendship. When Ray was diagnosed with cancer, Dale was a guiding light to what was one of our darkest moments. He was a gentle and loving giant of a man.He came over and prayed with Ray and kept in touch everyday. I hope he knew what a inspiration he was to both of us.He showed us the strength in believing. He showed us the strength in friendship and how all things are possible. Your husband, brother, father and grandfather was a man we should all take as a perfect example of great strength, kindness and believing. We were truely blessed to have had him in our lives. May God Bless your Wonderful Family. Ray and Syndi McGuire
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dear Debbie and Family - I was so shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing of the loss of your husband/father. The depth of what you feel is not easily described with words. One thing I have come to count on is the unending presence and love of the Lord. Dale is now celebrating heaven with all the loved ones that have gone before. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all especially today. Much love, Brenda

Debbie & family, I can not begin to express my deepest sympathy to you for your loss of Dale. He was a remarkable caring man.I have never met a person so honest and true in my entire life. He was a mentor to me and a great friend. He has taught me more about faith and understanding than architecture and I greatly appreciate it. The good Lord brings people into your life for a reason. I will miss him. And thanks to his friendship I will see him again. God bless you all in this time of need.

I am deeply saddened to be informed of Dale's passing. Dale and I worked together for over twenty years while he was with Consolidated Construction Co and I as a District Manager for pre-engineered metal buildings. We had the utmost respect for each other and always worked through the "details" (generally when Dale was involved...it was the more difficult details). We had come to realize through the years, that we both had "grown up" on a farm. When Dale would phone to attend to an issue...we would reminise for the first five minutes...about milking the cows, cleaning the gutters and drinking cups, making hay, cultivating corn, etc.. I'm really going to miss those conversations. Dale, this doesn't get you off the "hook" from doing your chores! I'll keep doing mine. John

Debbie, Soren and Elizabeth, What a wonderful obituary, and all so true! Even though I haven't seen any of you for many years, I feel priviledged that I can say I knew Dale. You're a lovely family and have had to deal with a lot of grief; the Lord bless you and keep you all close. I am truly sorry to hear of Dale's death and hope he didn't suffer long,bu am sure that for what time he did suffer, he did so with dignity and love for Christ. Linda Mueller (formerly Kieffer)
