Dale F. Buchberger, Kaukauna, 61, died Friday evening, June 25, 2004, following a short illness. He was born October 21, 1942, to the late John W. and Elizabeth M. (Trottier) Buchberger, in Kaukauna, where he was a resident his entire life. Dale had been employed by Thilmany for 41 years retiring November 1, 2003. He was an advocate for the Democratic Party and was very active with Local 20 International Paper Union. Dale enjoyed listening to country music, fishing and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra A. (Bongle) Buchberger, to whom he had been married for 13 years; two step-children, Richard L. Betow, Waukesha; Heather A. Betow, Green Bay; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bernard and Florence Buchberger, Kimberly; Vincent H. Buchberger; Kaukauna; a sister and brother-in-law, Kay E. and Robert Corbeille, Kaukauna; and a sister-in-law, Therese Buchberger, Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by a brother Douglas J. Buchberger.

A family and friends remembrance and prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 1, 2004 at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 pm Thursday until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
