We are sad to hear she had to go so soon.I guess God needed her In heaven,to watch over us. She was just a gentle soul, we loved her so much.

Nobody cursed the fish that got away with more enthusiasm, and colorful vocabulary to match it, as Cindy did. She was kinder than anybody we ever knew, and principled with deep roots in a sense of fairness, and "what's right," and if she got riled about something she drew the line, and she didn't cross it. You could count on that. When you went Up North with her, she brought her folder of carefully selected recipes and coolers full of food to realize them, to assure that you wouldn't miss three meals a day, plus interesting snacks. Just in case the fish weren't biting. If you were lucky enough to be among her family or friends, your name and the dates of your special events went onto a calendar, every year, and you received, early or on time, a reliable tribute to how important you were to her, taken from a box of carefully-collected greeting cards that she always kept close at hand. And if you had a social security number and zip code, eventually you were gifted with one of her beautiful cross-stitch embroidered paintings! One hangs in our kitchen, a rocking chair draped by a lap blanket, implying that its occupant might have just stepped away, perhaps to fetch an iced tea or lemonade, and will return momentarily. Plain-spoken, plainly loving to the extreme. I frankly don't know, this time, how we're going to get on without her, any of us. Our hearts go out to our brother Larry, and Cindy's own entire remarkable family, whose roots intertwine with hers in beautiful intimacy, all of whom we are so privileged to know.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
