Kuehl, Corrine H.

Corrine Helen Kuehl, age 60, passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, May 6, 2009. She was born in Appleton on March 4, 1949, the daughter of her late father, Clarence Kuehl, and surviving mother, Florence (Joecks) Kuehl. Corrine was a very caring and nurturing person. She worked for several years at the convent in Mequon before beginning her career as an LPN at Theda Clark Medical Center. In 1997, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh with her Bachelor's degree in Human Services. Corrine then devoted several years to her work at Harbor House. She was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and loved to go bowling.

Corrine is lovingly survived by her sister, Karen (Richard) Sonnleitner of Little Chute; nephew, Jeremy (Catherine) Sonnleitner; niece, Christie (Christopher) Woods; great-niece, Grace; great-nephew, Landon; aunt, Jo Sternhagen; uncle, Al Demler and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services for Corrine will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Corrine's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the St. Elizabeth ICU staff and chaplains for all their care and concern during Corrine's illness.

In lieu of flowers, Corrine's family has established a memorial fund.
