Cordell Mauel

Cordell Mauel, age 93, passed away at a local living center on Sunday, August 19, 2007. She was born in Kaukauna on December 12, 1913, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Haessly) Mauel. Many will remember that Cordell worked for many years at the Coffey Insurance Agency in Freedom. Havaing never married, she leaves behind no children, but is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Cordell enjoyed flower gardening and surrounded her home with peonies. She was also a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Cordell was preceded in death by her five brothers: Elmer, Greg, Edwin, Edmund, and Ambrose.

A private family service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
