Age 72, died on Friday, August 27, 2004, at her home. Cora was born in Appleton, WI on April 16, 1932, son of the late Jervis and Eva (Bunn) Josephs. She married Robert Veeser in Key West, Florida, in 1951 and traveled the world alongside her husband as he served in the U. S. military. Upon her return, she lived in Chilton, WI, where Robert preceded her in death. She later returned to live in Appleton. Cora will be greatly missed by her son, James (Lisa) Veeser and her loving granddaughters: Abby, Mallory and Haley of Sheboygan; her brother, John (Barbara) Josephs of Winchester, Wisconsin; her sister, Lois Apitz; and sisters-in-law, Loretta and Gerrine Josephs, all of Appleton. Cora was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Marti and Thomas Josephs; and brother-in-law, Charles Apitz. Cora will be remembered by her family as a humorous upbeat adventurer who
could talk to anyone and be a great listener. She took pleasure in having a cup of coffee with friends, rummaging for bargains, collecting objects, traveling and doting over her grandchildren. Along her life's path, she taught many the gift of unselfish giving. Throughout her life, she was a volunteer for many organizations with the most recent being the Performing
Arts Center in Appleton, Sacred Heart, Appleton Police Department Victim Crisis Response Unit and the National Catholic Society of Foresters. The Funeral Mass will be held at Noon, on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 East Fremont Street, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Karuhn officiating. Visitors will be received at the church on Tuesday, August 31 from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The private interment will be held at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Chilton. A memorial fund has been established in Cora's name.
