Age 81, died on Christmas Eve, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born April 25, 1922, to the late John and Emma (Burnett) Aird, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Cliff served with the Canadian Army Band during WW II, where he was a trombonist. He loved his family and his music and was a member of the Salvation Army. Cliff is survived by his wife, Myrtle A. (Hales) Aird, to whom he had been married for 58 years; five children, Diane Metko, Neenah; Janet Tarneja, Springville, NY; Brian (Cecilia) Aird, El Paso, TX; Deborah Button, Neenah; Kevin (Roselyn) Aird, Waukegan, IL: 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret (Roger) Beaulieu, St. Petersburg, FL. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
