Sully was MUCH loved and will be GREATLY missed. I remember his uplifting spirit and nurturing force. He made a grand impression on Rowen & 5 year olds are not easily impressed. I heard about Michael's Godfather long before I met him. Vicky- my prayers are with you. Our prayers are with you. Love- Lisa, Michael, and Rowen Kilawee

Vicky, it was always a pleasure visiting with you & Sully 'out & about'. Work commitments prohibit in person condolences. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Love - Jay

Sully was always one of my favorite uncles. While it's true I have many, those who knew him know how special Sully was. Always cheerful and respectful, a good host and an honorable husband, a true Irish Gentleman. My childhood memories are of Sully tending bar and floating in the pool in his rainbow colored innertube. Later Sully was the one I asked to attend my commissioning and pin my lieutenant's bars on my collar. Mother Teresa said, "We can do no great things, only small things with great love." Sully embodied this. Through his service in the military and civic organizations, as a husband and a family member, Sully was truly a great man.
