Christopher Potter

Christopher Alan Potter, age 34, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with family by his side due to complications from his ATV accident in 2012. Chris was born in Milwaukee on April 21, 1982, son of Mark and Margie (Martin) Potter. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 2000, and shortly after entered the United States Army. After serving his country, Chris married Jessica Bayer and welcomed son Coltin Potter to their family in 2008. Coltin was, and always will be, his pride and joy.

Chris will always be known for being able to fix anything. If it was gas or diesel powered, he could make it go! He was always willing to offer a helping hand. Chris enjoyed spending time outdoors; whether it be snowmobiling, ATVing, riding his motorcycle or tubing down the Wolf River. He also loved creating massive bonfires and spending time with family and friends.

Chris will be lovingly missed by his son: Coltin Potter; his parents: Mark and Margie Potter; sister: Tracy Potter and his grandmother: Connie Martin. He is further survived by his aunts: Linda Kruger, Lori (Ken) Moreman, Marlene (Tom) Perona, Cheryl (Jack) Toth and Charlene Hines: as well as many cousins and good friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Shirley and Elwood Misner; maternal grandfather Robert O. Martin; and uncles: Robert “Sloan” Martin and Richard Kruger.
