Christine Marie Johnson

Jesus reached down and placed our beloved Christine into his arms on March 11, 2019, at the age of 43. Jesus knew it was time for Christine to be with him. God made Christine a person who enjoyed his earth. She had a love for nature, enjoyed the smell of beautiful flowers, and delighted in seeing a horse run in the field. Her heart carried a happy song, for she loved music of all kinds. Her smile was beautiful, and it made those around her feel uplifted. She was a wonderful gift to us, having been born on September 29, 1975.

She is survived by her mother: Nancy (Muthig) Johnson; two uncles: Mark (Mary) Muthig and Mike Muthig; and a cousin: Cindy Muthig. She was preceded in death by her great-grandma Pearl Arts and grandparents Frank and Virginia Muthig.

Christine was surrounded by the love of the Matz family as well as the many caregivers in her life. We are thankful for all who truly loved Christine. Her smile will live on in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Fargo Funeral Home, located at 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna, with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will take place in the Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Junction at a later date.
