Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same If I saw you in heaven? I must be strong And carry on, 'Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven. Would you hold my hand If I saw you in heaven? Would you help me stand If I saw you in heaven? I'll find my way Through night and day, 'Cause I know I just can't stay Here in heaven. Time can bring you down, Time can bend your knees. Time can break your heart, Have you begging please, begging please. Beyond the door, There's peace I'm sure, And I know there'll be no more Tears in heaven. Would you know my name If I saw you in heaven? Would it be the same If I saw you in heaven? I must be strong And carry on, 'Cause I know I don't belong Here in heaven Tears In Heaven lyrics by Eric Clapton Missing and thinking of you often.

I pray that God give you the strength to endure these difficult times. We know that Chris is at peace now with her Savior. In deepest Sympthy, Lynne Collins
Kerry McLaren left a message on April 6, 2009:
Tim, Cody and Brittany, My heartfelt sympathy is with you and your family during this time of grieving over the passing of your wife/Mom. I had the pleasure of working and getting to know Chris as not only a colleague at DHL, but as someone I could consider my friend. She was always someone I could count on and the first person I would call when it came to being the expert in her trade or just wanting to share life stories and laughs. I found this email which I sent to Chris in 2006. I hope by sharing this message with all of you as well, your family will find peace in it's wonderful message as Chris has now. "Kerry, Thank you for this it is great and very true. I hope you are doing well. I will be off for some time yet but am doing OK. Thanks for thinking of me. Take care of yourself. Chris" From: Kerry McLaren (DHL US) [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Fri 6/2/2006 7:50 PM Subject: God's Cake "Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away. Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake" "Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers. "Yuck" says her daughter. "How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!" "Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Mom, those are all yucky!" To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But! when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful! God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Dear Vils Family, We were so shocked to learn of Chris' passing in the paper. We lived across the street from her and her family as she grew up on Bristol Lane. She was a joy to watch and get to know. She helped us out by cleaning our house. We just looked in our picture album and saw her teaching our 15 month old daughter how to do it right!! We attended her wedding and saw how happy she was. We are sure she was a great wife and mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during these difficult days. May wonderful memories help you all. God has a wonderful angel up there now. Please say hello to Donna, Tom, Cathy, Dana, Justin, and Amber for us.

Tim & Kids, Words cannot say how much Millie and I feel for your family. We are so very sorry for your loss but, so proud to say we knew Chris, you and the kids. It was just like yesterday when she rode off with the kids on bikes in Door county. I remember all the extra things Christine did like showing up with treats & coloring books for all our kids at our house so the 4 of us could go to DHL Xmas party. It was priceless when she bought ice cream cones for the whole sales team riding in van to quiet them like kids on a long vacation trip. She was always extraordinary and certainly didnt need coffee for energy. A great person, mother, worker and soul. Her bright light will always shine on all the people she touched and the legacy she leaves. God bless your family. You are in our prayers

Her presence is missed and our memeories of her will always be honorable. She was my 'wing man' in our business dealings, and I have missed her since she left. What a light in this world that we'll all miss. I worked with Christine years ago. Somehow we clicked, even though she was the fastest talking Yankee I ever met, or I imagine will ever meet! and I was this slow drawler from Kentucky. Even though we drifted apart, her passing, as is often the case, brings back a flood of good memories. Love you Chris!

Ourselves and several other of Chris's fellow friends/Green Bay Yacht Club members were rafted together with our boats this past 4th of July weekend when we were notified of Chris's passing. It was very emotional, however, everyone was there for eachother. We shared fond memories of Chris. We remembered how much she loved the 4th of July boat raft party, and smiled remembering how she decorated her boat, all of us, and even made a really neat flag cake with blue berries and strawberries. We toasted Chris's life and legacy with a margarita shot. I'm sure she was looking down upon us and smiling. She will be dearly missed, and her pasion for life, family, and great friends will never be forgotten.

To the Vils Family, I am so sorry to hear about Chris' passing. I was childhood friends with Chris and remember her very fondly of our elementary school days at Dryden with her and Debbie Herd. I remember many of walks home from school and playing at her house. Even though we went on to seperate friends in Jr. High and High School we still spoke to each other laughing about some of the crazy things we did when we were kids. When I last saw her at the reunion in 2004, she spoke so proudly of her two kids and her life in Wisconsin. She was so full of energy and life. Words cannot describe how sorry I am and hope that your faith will comfort you in this very difficult time. Nicky Jaeger Seymour
