Tracy and Jeff…My sincere condolences on the passing of Charlie. I know the grief of losing a father. No matter how prepared we think we are, it always comes as a shock, it seems. They will live on in our memories and photos.
Dorene Dombroski left a message on November 20, 2015:
I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family. I was a classmate of Charlie's in Cornell. Graduated with him in 1951. Everyone liked Charlie as he was a friend to all and also very good in sports, especially basketball. If I would have been more able myself I would have wanted to come to the funeral. Again, my sincere sympathy. Dorene Diamond Dombroski

Godspeed Charlie - from 'Sara'. A story that goes back to growing up in Cornell! Sylvia was so in love with this man and she would have me call him on the phone to see if he was home and identify myself as 'Sara!' Charlie figured it out of course! Sylvia and I were 16! Jeff & Tracy I remember you as little tykes so loved by your Mom & Dad! Sylvia was one of my very best friends so Charlie became so very special to us just knowing him. We are so sorry for your loss and sending you and your children love, hugs and prayers. If you get to Cornell, look us up and we can share stories - all good ones! Our loving condolences to you, your children and also to special friend, Susan Carpenter.

Sue Cox Seaton (cousin) left a message on November 18, 2015:
Although I was very little when Tweeker left for Korea, I can vividly remember being at the farm with Aunt Fran and Uncle Walt and their concern for his safety. Their home was usually filled with Aunt Fran's giggles and Uncle Walt's education debates was unusually quiet. The entire Johnson, Schuman and Cox family couldn't wait to for his return. Jeff and Tracy, please know that I am thinking of you today and the days to come. It is my wish that your wonderful memories will help with the grief you are now experiencing. God's blessings are sent your way.
