Catherine G. "Cathy" Hartjes

Catherine Hartjes, age 83, of Neenah, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on April 9, 1931, the daughter of the late George and Susan (Rietveld) Hartjes. Cathy is survived by her nieces and nephew: Mary (Bill Self) Burt, Lori (Don Bates) Roeder, and Brian (Annette) Burt; and four grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her sister Johanna Burt, grandnephew Robert Roeder, and special friend Ed.

The funeral liturgy for Catherine will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 17, 2014 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street in Appleton. Msgr. Jim VandenHogen will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery in Kimberly.
