Carol Deltgen, age 67, passed away Saturday, February19, 2005, at her home. She was born January 25, 1938, in Black Creek, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Melvin and Sylvia (Holtz) Peters. Carol attended school in Black Creek, and was a graduate of Seymour High School. She married William Deltgen on August 1, 1959, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2001.

The Deltgen’s lived in Appleton for many years, and Carol was employed at Photoland for 26 years, and retired in 2002. She and Bill were active members of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, and Carol was also a member of the Appleton Ladies Elks, Lodge #337. She enjoyed auto racing, snowmobiling, and skiing.

Survivors include her brother, Larry (Joanie) Peters, of Black Creek; her brother-in-law, Jim Steward, of Black Creek; and nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Steward, and her father and mother-in-law, Lester and Althea Deltgen.

Funeral services for Carol will be at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 North Meade Street, Appleton, with Revs. Dennis Ellisen and Martin Ruge officiating. Interment will take place in Appleton Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. Tuesday until the time of services directly at the church.

The family would like to express their special thanks to Carol’s nurses, Donna, Jessica, and Renee, for the wonderful care given to Carol.
