Carol Jean Huebner

Carol J Huebner, age 61 of Hortonville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and special friends on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Carol was born on November 27, 1951 in Lansing, MI, loving daughter of the late Kenneth and Nellie Mitchell. On February 14, 1992 she married Michael Huebner at her home in Kimberly Wi. She graduated from Appleton East High School in 1968 and went on to further her education in Business at Fox Valley Tech.

Carol enjoyed working with people and was a Customer Service/Sales Representative for nearly two decades in the Fox Valley. She retired in 1996 due to health concerns.

Carol was a true caregiver and friend to everyone that met her. She was very active and involved in Small Dog Rescue and had placed many of them to loving families. Carol was a true Christian and was deeply involved in various church ministries.

Carol lived her life to the fullest. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed pottery, canning, gardening, reading, going out with her friends, especially all the wonderful outings with her sister in heart Bernie. Her grandchildren brought her so much joy with everything they did together.

She is survived by her husband Michael, her daughters Kimberly Brzozowski of Winneconne (special friend Jake), and Jennifer Valeri of Hortonville. Her brother Dale (Kathy) Mitchell. Grandchildern Evelyn, Tylor, Anna, and Mya. Nephews David, Josh, Tony, Corey, Ryan, Jason and Ben, nieces Katie and Rachel. Her mother in law Ada, brothers in laws Rod (Michele), Scott (Elaine) and Randy (Sonya), her sister by heart Bernie Pawelczyk, son by heart Ross Wilimington, very special friends Jean (Larry) Pooler, Peg Abendroth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Krueger, father in law Luther Huebner, sister in law Yvonne and Grandma Helen.

A memorial service for Carol will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST (724 East South River St., APPLETON) with Rev. Jane Anderson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Carols name to benefit emergency shelters and the Salvation Army.

Family would like to express many thank you's to all the medical physicians, nurses, support teams especially to Dr. Ann Gierl, Dr. J Jospeh, Dr. Misty Johnson, Dr. Carl Rasmussen, who has cared for Carol throughout the years. With all your knowledge, support and love you have extended her life beyond years. Special thank you to the wonderful nurses in ICU for all your compassion, loving care that you gave Carol on her final journey.

Carol, you were my neighbor, my friend, partner in crime, sister by heart. I will miss our outings and you so very much. Thank you for the Memories. You did it your way. Love Berrnie, partner in crime.
