Rogers, Carol J.

Carol J. Rogers, age 87, Little Chute, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at Parkside Care Center. She was born on May 13, 1918, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Levi and Clara (Fowles) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Ralph Rogers on September 4, 1953 in Chicago, IL. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and little Dixie. She also liked working crossword puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rogers, to whom she had been married for 52 years; daughter, Donna Van Nuland, Combined Locks, and her special friend, George Merschdorf; three grandchildren: Ralph (Mary) Van Nuland, Kimberly; Ronald (Deborah) Van Nuland, Germantown: Rhonda (James) Bartelt, Darboy: nine great grandchildren: Ellen (Jason) Christie, Rebecca and Jacob Van Nuland; Tyler, Philip, and Aaron Van Nuland; and Michael, Matthew and Heather Bartelt.

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diane Cullen; her parents: Levi and Clara Anderson; two brothers and sisters-in-law: George (Florence) Anderson, Kaukauna, John (Johanna) Anderson, Kaukauna, and a son-in-law, Philip Van Nuland, Combined Locks.

The memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December, 16, 2005, at St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church, 705 Greenfield Dr., Little Chute, with Rev. Ronald Szep officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Jack Meyer and to the wonderful and caring staff at Parkside Care Center and Heartland Hospice.
