Carla Dove

Carla Dove, age 66, of the Town of Menasha, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Carla was born on December 24, 1948, in Oshkosh, to the late Raymond and Elaine (Cornell) Steiner. She married Bill Dove on June 23, 1972, in Neenah. Carla's life was centered on her large family. Although she was an avid Packers and Brewers fan, she was most interested in attending the athletic contests of “her boys.” Carla also enjoyed mystery novels, cooking and needlepoint. Her favorite vacation was to Oceancity, New Jersey, where Bill was able to treat her to authentic cheese steaks.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bill; her step-daughter, Lisa (Kevin) Garve; her grandson, Nate Gundrum; her sisters, Barbara Steiner, Nancy (Gary) Rohloff, Patricia (Mike) Witkowski, Sandy (Wayne) Martin and Kathy (Mike) Schnese; her brothers, Dennis (Cathy) Steiner, Richard (MaryJo) Steiner, Jim (Sue) Steiner and Jeff (Jane) Steiner; her sisters-in-law, Linda (Bill) Jones and Susan (Jim) Rosenthal; her brother-in-law, Lewis (Chris) Johnson; her mother-in-law, Doris Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Billy Danielson.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha, Wisconsin, with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh.
