Age 19, died tragically of a drowning accident Friday, August 09, 2001. He was born February 14, 1982 to Gayle (Mattson) Voight in Ironwood, Michigan.

Bryon had a gift that allowed him to relate to all ages, this gift was created through his special bond with his brother, Wes. His musical talents were evident from the many hours he spent tuning his drumming skills, playing the guitar and singing. Bryon had a unique ability to communicate with everyone he came in contact with, through writing, story telling and speaking. Bryon possessed many athletic abilities from football to snowboarding. He never passed up the opportunity of a new challenge. Bryon had a heart of gold. He was a loving, caring and giving person. Bryon will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Gayle Voight; his father, Charles Voight; his brother, Weston Voight; his maternal grandparents, John and Gerri Mattson; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Rigoni; an uncle, Darryl (Karen) Mattson; an aunt, Cheryl (Peter) Baron; his cousins, Trevor Carlsen, Nathan Baron, Gabrielle, Danielle and Jonathan Mattson and his best friend, Chad Brazee.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Rigoni.

The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday August 14, 2001 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 209 South Allen Street, Appleton. Friends and family may call Monday at the FUNERAL HOME from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday at CHURCH from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

A memorial is being established in Bryon’s name.
