Age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19, 2010. He was born in Neenah on November 24, 1970, son of Earl and Marilyn (Onan) Nettekoven. He graduated from Kaukauna High School and from Fox Valley Tech. Brian worked for Albany International for 13 years. He had a very entrepreneurial spirit and always had creative ideas which led to Brian owning and operating The Outpost Pub and Provision He enjoyed spending time with his many friends, riding his V-Rod Harley, and was very fond of going to Packer Games. His three children: Cooper, Lexi and Grady were the world to him. Cooper will have fond memories of attending sporting events with Dad. Daddy was Lexi's best friend. Grady was Daddy's little shadow.

Brian is survived by his children: Cooper, Alexa and Grady Nettekoven of Sherwood; parents, Earl and Marilyn Nettekoven of Sherwood; sibblings: Steve Nettekoven of Sherwood, Vincent (Donna) Nettekoven of Kaukauna and their children Jeremy (Beth) and Ashley, Anna (Brian) Mauel of Sherwood and their children Jason, Aaron and Geneva; Keith (Nicole) Nettekoven of Sherwood and their children Brooklyn, Kasey and Halle, Todd (Nancy) Wenzel of Sherwood and their children Dylan and Brady; and special friend, Cherie Mader of Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Howard and Ruth Onan and John and Anna Nettekoven.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, Sherwood, with Rev. Bill Schroeder officiating. Friends will be received at CHRIST THE KING on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sherwood.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rev. Bill Schroeder for being a good influence on Brian.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Brian's name is being established.
