Brian Anthony Lewis

Brian Anthony Lewis, age 68 of Appleton, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1947 in Michigan, and adopted by the late Joseph and Marie (Auger) Lewis. On September 26, 1976, Brian married the love of his life, Deborah Thompson in Menasha. Deb had the privilege of being married for 40 years to the best man she has ever known. They enjoyed spending time at their cottage in Door County. Brian retired in 2009 as an industrial electrician with Pechiney Plastic Packaging. Brian was an avid golfer, a wonderful dancer, and had an enduring love of dogs, especially his current companion Zekeylee. Brian had a gorgeous smile, great sense of humor, was kind, always funny, and had a big heart…he will be missed by many. He never missed the opportunity to enjoy life. Brian was a diehard Democrat and union man, and was passionate about supporting the mission of the Fox Valley Humane Association.

Brian is survived by his loving wife Deb, daughter of his heart Jenny Stark, a sister-in-law of his heart Dawn King, and his amazing canine companion Zekeylee. He is further survived by many wonderful cousins, who were very dear to him, along with a multitude of caring friends. Brian enjoyed every moment he spent with his amazing older brother, Father David Lewis, and was very saddened by his death.

A celebration of life for Brian will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street in Menasha. Jan Lucht will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
