I was reading the obituaries and the age listed made me read this one. As I read I realized this was Charlie's "lady". We live in the neighborhood and often walked past Brenda's house. We did not know her name, but we sure enjoyed seeing Brenda and Charlie. We always liked to hear her talk to Charlie - "We aren't barking at squirrels" and other comments. What a delightful person. We will miss her in our neighborhood.
Sally and family,
I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Brenda will truly be missed. She was a shining star of the neighborhood with her dear companion Charlie, and her brightness will shine on forever. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Thoughts and prayers to Brenda, you and yours,
Ming
My condolences go out to all of Brenda's family. God bless

I will miss your sense of humor and your patience with me, trying to explain how bookkeeper's look at budgets to this librarian who has never had a bookkeeping class.

Sally,
I am so sorry for your loss! I only knew Brenda through the neighborhood but loved her and miss her already. Charlie will know he is loved and cherished as much as he was by Brenda and his neighbors.
She was a special person and I pray the Lord has taken her in his arms to hold until we see her again.

Brenda you will always live in our life as you were a living extension of our dear friends Betsy and Glenn. We appreciated your friendship, letters, pictures and time spent with us. Knowing that our God has you in his loving and gentle arms, we thank Him and thank you for the years altho way to humanly short . Love, Bob and Mary Lou
Our thoughts and prays go out to Brenda's family and friends. We moved here about 5 years ago and Brenda was very welcoming and a great neighbor. We will dearly miss seeing her and Charlie everyday outside, our neighborhood will never be the same. Heaven has gained another angel!!
Brenda was such a thoughtful person with a huge heart. I remember mentioning to her that I always loved this wooden rack her mom had for all the kids' mittens to hang from. There was a set of wooden clothes pins for each child with their names painted on them. That is where they hung their mittens to dry. Well, one day before work she drove down the street and handed a gift bag to Jim and said "You've been elfed". Inside the bag was a painted wooden snowman version of the mitten holder for us. I will always treasure it. That's just the kind of person Brenda was. So much love to give.
Sally, Keith and families....I'm so sorry for your loss.
