Brad A. Johnson

September 3, 1953 — July 31, 2011

Brad Johnson, age 57, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, July 31, 2011, following a lengthy illness. Brad was born in Milwaukee on September 3, 1953, son of the late Chalmer Johnson and Lucille
Baginski Johnson who still resides in Milwaukee. He attended high school in Milwaukee and college in Oshkosh. While working as a bartender and disc jockey at the Captain's Steak Joynt in Appleton, he
was introduced to his future wife, Chris Schneider. The couple married on May 21, 1983. Over the years, Brad worked in the area as a Realtor, but for the past many years was employed by Eagle Supply and Plastics of Appleton. He enjoyed genealogy and history, coin collecting, and cheering for the Brewers and the Packers.

Brad is survived by his mother: Lucille Johnson of Wauwatosa; his wife: Chris Johnson of Appleton; two daughters: Jenny (Wyatt) Fisher of Huntsville, Alabama and their daughter Penelope; and Whitney Johnson of Appleton and her daughter Adelyn; a sister: Linda (John) Daly of Madison and their children Joel and Beth; a brother: Scott (Crystal) Johnson of Racine and their children Amy, Eric, and Ryan; two brothers-in-law: Dave (Laurie) Schneider of Portage and their daughters Julie and Holly and John Schneider of Oshkosh; a sister-in-law: Janine Johnson of Merritt Island, Florida; and his in-laws: John and Adeline Schneider of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father and by a brother, Todd.

Funeral services for Brad will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Jane Anderson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Brad's name.

The family would like to thank all of Brad's special friends and caregivers at Crestwood – you have all been so kind and compassionate over the years. You will never be forgotten.
