I am praying that your family be comforted through this sorrowful time. God knows our pain and provides us with comfort. (Psalms 9:9&10;) He promises us that we will see our loved ones again. John 5:28 tells us that he will remember our loved ones and give them life again. Revelations 21:4 provides us with God's promise that soon he will remove death forever. Imagine a time where we will be with our loved ones and never being parted from them! NJones

Kathy and Family, I am so sorry to hear the news about Bob as I did not hear about him until this past Friday. I said no way! I had no idea he was even battling cancer but I haven't seen him in awhile which was surprising in itself as I'd see him in the neighborhood. Bob was a special man! He always had a smile on his face and always cared about everyone else first before himself. I recall playing softball with him back in the days with the guys and that's when you two met. You know as well as I that he has touched many lives and is a true role model. He will be missed! However, we know God is good and called him home to Him in heaven. God bless you and your family during these times. My deepest sympathy! Scott

Dear kathy, I just wish I could describe to you the type of man he was. I was a student of his for two years, and he was also my mentor. I never once thought for a second that he didn't pour his heart into his work. He was my favorite teacher and one of the only ones I KNEW believed in me. He was a teacher at West at this time and when I heard he was going to north it broke my heart but I knew it was for the best for him and his children. I send my sincere condolences. He was funny, and he always kept positive even when times were tough. And man, did he love Mountain Dew! I can honestly say I love this man because he beleived in me, even when I couldn't believe in myself. He'll always have a place in my heart. May he Rest In Peace and drink all the Mountain Dew he can handle!! He always did say do the dew :)

Kathy, with a broken heart I have to say this is the worst news and have a hard time accepting it. Bobbie was just the most kind, funny sweet man I have ever known. Just does not seem right but I guess God has his reason. I thank god you are a strong person so know you will get through this is time for your childrens sake. What a terrific family you all are and Bob will always be there in spirit and watch over and guide you. I have missed you all over these past years very much. Just know you and the kids have my best wishes and also love. Stay strong like the women you have always been and keep the great humor going. Hugs and Love, Linnie

Newman '84 classmate, fellow social studies teacher, and friend... gone way too soon. Bob was one of the best, and funniest, people I have ever known. Our high school reunions will not be the same without his laughter and stories. But I know that he will be there in spirit as we listen to his favorite 80's tunes and raise our drinks in remembrance! Be at peace, Bob. Be at peace. Kathy... you, the kids, and the entire Blaskowski family are in my thoughts and prayers!

Kathy- Bob was truly one of my favorite people in the world. His smile lit up a room and he had a way of always making me look at the bright side of things. He will be remembered not only as a wonderful husband, father, teacher, and coach, but as a true friend that was always there to provide his love and support. I will miss texting him throughout all Packer games and will also miss his text message of "cheers" that he sent me most Friday afternoons after school. My prayers continue for you and your family. Love you.

Kathy and kids, I am so sorry for Bob's passing. He was a very kind and funny man and I always enjoyed spending time with him. I was blessed with escorting and accompanying "Sly Bob" to the Summerfest grounds many times when he was a younger man. We always had a great time. He was a very generous man and made sure everyone always had a full "Orange Whip". I will always cherish the memories and will miss his sense of humor and smile. I am sorry I cannot make the services this week but please let me know if there will be a social event in the future.

Class of 2002. He was one the best High School teachers I had. Helped me with my math. I was having a tough time and he pulled out his own wallet and money to show me in a way I understood. Just clicked and I use that still to this day with much ease. He taught me how to do my own taxes too!! Also sent me out in the hall a few to many times for talking in class!! Very easy going person, very nice teacher to have- really cared! Would do anything for anyone I think. Heaven gained a wonderful angel... this world lost an awesome person. RIP Mr.B!!! Cancer is awful... my heart goes out to his family. Just take each day 1 at a time
