Age 71, passed away on Sunday morning, December 4, 2006 at Brewster Village. She was born on November 12, 1935 in Appleton to the late Harvey and Delores (McGinnis) Buss. Bev was a 1954 graduate of Appleton High School. On May 5, 1956 she married Thomas Brautigam in Appleton and they recently celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage. Beverly enjoyed sports, especially baseball, bird watching, and gardening.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Tom; her children: Sara A. (Timothy) Griesbach, Walled Lake, MI, Shannon (Pat) Webb, Appleton, Matthew T. (Kari) Brautigam, Green Bay; grandchildren: Erica and Patrick Griesbach, Ryan, Conor, and Lauren Webb, Hailey, Hayden, Griffin, Samuel, and Isaac Brautigam. She is further survived by her brothers: John (Betty) Buss, Greenville; Gregory (Tina) Buss, Plymouth, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her parents-in-law, Michael and Rita Brautigam; and brother-in-law, Bob Brautigam.

According to Beverly’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The family would like to thank all the “Angels” (staff) at Brewster Village, especially in The Cedars, for their dedication to caring for Bev.
