Beverly J. Hart

Beverly Hart died at the Appleton Medical Center on Sunday, April 9, 2006 at the age of 84, with her daughter at her side. Beverly was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 22, 1922, daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel (Lee) Berg. On June 26, 1948, she married William T. Hart in Milwaukee; he preceded her in death in 1974. For the past fifty-four years, Beverly had been an Appleton resident. She was proud to have been one of the very first employees at VALWELD INC and was employed there for many years. She was also a member of St. James United Methodist Church, the Lion’s Club Auxiliary, the Ladies Elks of Lodge #337, and was also a charter member of the Appleton Noon Lioness Club where she acted as secretary for seventeen years. Beverly enjoyed the company of her dog Gizmo, watching movies and animal related shows, as well as gathering with loved ones at weddings, family reunions, and other events.

She is survived by her daughter: Susan Hart of Appleton; two step-sons: William S. (Mary Ann) Hart, Sr. of Tampa, Florida and Harry “Bud” (Connie) Hart of Alexandria, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren: William S. (Barrie) Hart, Jr., Chris (Jim) Stublarec, Cathy (Jeff) Bart, Connie Sue (Jim) Wilcox, Bob (Kathy) Hart, Tim (Sommer) Hart, Annie (Mike) Alba, Mike (Kim) Hart, Joe (Christi) Hart, Elizabeth Hart, Mary Catherine (Bob) Gibbs, Douglas (Barbara) Scott, and Paul (Ronette) Scott; thirty great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Norma Hart; a special niece: Janell Berg; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William T. Hart in 1974, brothers Ralph “Bud” Berg and William “Chub” Berg, and a great-granddaughter Daniella Hart.

Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Donna Miller of St. James United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Beverly’s name is being established.

The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone at Dialysis Care, the physical therapists and HBO Wound Therapists at St. Elizabeth Hospital, her doctors and staff at Affinity Medical Clinic, the nursing staffs at both St. Elizabeth Hospital and the Appleton Medical Center, Franciscan Care and Rehabilitation Center and the staff at Consumer Prescription Center in Appleton. All of you showed mom such a wonderful level of care and concern – our family will never forget your kindness.
