Betty M. Euclide

July 30, 1925 — March 11, 2013

Betty Euclide, age 87, passed away on Monday morning, March 11, 2013 at an Appleton nursing home. Betty was born in Sturgeon Bay on July 30, 1925, daughter of the late John and Bess (Logan) Hansen. She was a graduate of the Sturgeon Bay High School, and on October 31, 1952, she married Clayton Euclide; he preceded her in death in 1995. Betty was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, and canning.

She is survived by her children: Barbara (Gene) Hoppe of Shawano; Paul Euclide of Menasha; Patricia (Joe Popp) Alger of Oak Creek; and Dave (Darcy) Euclide of Sun Prairie. There are also six grandchildren: Adam Euclide, Matthew Euclide, Cami Miller, Sydni Euclide, Aidan Euclide, and Chadd Sorum; a sister: Althea (Ben) Logerquist of Jacksonport; sisters-in-law: Joann King of Oak Creek, Arlene Euclide of Kewaunee, and Mary Euclide of Chilton; a brother-in-law: Earl (Donna) Euclide of Appleton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clayton, an infant brother, brothers Jack, Giles, and Ben; and brothers-in-law Ralph King, Vincent Euclide, Norbert Euclide, Joe (Yvonne) Euclide, Jr., and Donald (Thelma) Euclide.

The funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street in Menasha with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

They include everyone at Fox River Nursing and Rehab Center, the 8th Floor staff at the Appleton Medical Center, and the wonderful nurses from ThedaCare at Home.
