Although we never dated in high school or had any classes together, we did go to the senior prom together and double dated with her sister Nancy and Bob Keil. I recall Bette as a good student and very nice person. We would often meet with fellow classmate Mary Ann Fenske and act goofy and tell jokes in one of the stairwells after school. Peace and heartfelt condolences to Bette's family and friends. Sincerely, Dennis A. Kasten (Cape Cod, MA).

So many great memories with Bette that I will cherish. She was my mentor and friend, she inspired goodness in the world and spread kindness. Her cooking skills were spot on, yumm! She was so knowledgeable and voluntarily shared that knowledge to help others grow and become their all. Thank you Bette for all your wonderfulness!
