Bernice M. Gosch

Manitowoc, Formerly of Appleton

Age 82, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at St. Mary’s Home in Manitowoc.
Bernice was born on September 11, 1918 in Appleton the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (VanErem) Manier. Bernice married John V. Gosch on May 5, 1941 and enjoyed 42 wonderful years together, before he preceded her in death on October 2, 1983.
Bernice was a member of St. Pius X Parish. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters and the VFW Auxiliary.

Bernice is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Robert) Schneider, Green Bay; Sr. Lois Ann Gosch OSF, Manitowoc; and Pat Gosch, Whitefish Bay, WI. One brother, Don (Julie) Manier, Appleton and one sister, LaVerne Lingnofski, Menasha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, three brothers, Alex, Frank, and Melvin “Red”.

The funeral liturgy will be on Friday, August 31, 2001 at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH (500 West Marquette Street, Appleton) at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, August 30, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be directly at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of liturgy. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
