Barbara L McKenzie

Barbara McKenzie, age 55, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012, at Manor Care surrounded by her family. Barb was born in Appleton on March 24, 1957, daughter of the late Donald and Evelyn Miller. Barb enjoyed traveling and lived on the east and west coasts and several places in between. She especially enjoyed her time teaching English as a second language while in San Diego. Barb loved to sing karaoke, was an avid sci-fi reader and enjoyed baking and decorating the house for the holidays. When out and about, Barb enjoyed meeting new people and listening to their stories. She will always be remembered for her kindness and her great sense of humor.

Barb is survived by her two sons: Ian (Jennifer) Miller of Appleton and Jonathon McKenzie of Munich Germany; grandson Evan Miller; former husband David Everett McKenzie; brother and sisters: Linda Brevik, Kathleen Miller Stumpf (Charles) Julin, Mary (Stanley) Dinger, Pamela (Lawrence) Leviton, Kevin Miller and Frances (Edward) Rydz; Step Mother LAVerne Miller. Barb is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Evelyn Miller.
