Barbara Vignali, age 82 of Menasha, passed away at her home early on the morning of Saturday, July 5, 2014. Barb was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin on January 27, 1932, daughter of the late Harley and Vivian (Cushman) Squires. She attended schools in Baraboo, and as a young woman was employed as a telephone operator and later as a nursing assistant. On June 4, 1960, Barb married Larry Vignali in Baraboo; he survives. Barb was an active wife and mother, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, eagle watching, word search puzzles, cooking, and caring for her home and family.
She is survived by her loving husband: Larry Vignali of Menasha; a son: Steve (Tammy) Vignali of Appleton; two grandsons: David and Michael; several brothers and sisters-in-law: David Vignali, Wilbur (Betty) Vignali, Ruth (Jim) Gundlach, Marian Vignali, Edith (Dennis) Wilson, Margaret (Guy) Raether, Jim Vignali, Joe Vignali, John (Debbie) Vignali, Virginia Vignali, and Tom Accola. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Elaine (Claude) Deubig, Darlene Lindsey, and Joan Accola; and a brother-in-law: Carl Vignali.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, with Pastor Dick Schaefer officiating. Inurnment will be in Baraboo. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel on Tuesday, July 15, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
