I joined First National Bank of Appleton back in 1973 and quickly gained a lifelong respect for Arno. He was a wise banker, a patient mentor and a kind human being. I am happy to have known him. Regards - BRAD WESSLEY

ARNO WAS A VERY UNIQUE PERSON AND I FEEL SO PRIVILEGED TO KNOW HIM. HE WAS ALWAYS WONDERING WHY HIS HEART WAS TICKING SO WELL WHEN THE REST OF HIS BODY WAS NOT COOPERATING. THERE WAS SO MUCH HE WANTED TO DO BUT HE KEPT GETTING SO TIRED. WHEN HE HAD HIS RECENT ACCIDENT WITH THE VOLVO I OFFERED TO EMPTY HIS CAR BEFORE HE TOOK IT AWAY. I MUST TELL YOU HE WAS PREPARED FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. EXTRA JACKETS BOOTS AND ALL SORTS OF THINGS YOU WOULD NEED IN THE WOODS. HE WILL BE MISSED BUT I KNOW HE HAD A GOOD LIFE AND HE WILL BE AT PEACE NOW. HE WAS A CUSTOMER OF MY WORK FOR MANY YEARS AT FULTON VAN LINN'S. MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU STEVE AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY.
