Arlene Curtis, age 88, of Appleton, passed away September 3, 2010 at a local care center. Arlene was born April 15, 1922, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Johnson) Anderson.

On June 7, 1952, she married Donald Curtis in Green Bay; he survives. In addition to Don, Arlene is survived by two children: Kay Lynn (John) Rinehart of Hortonville and Craig (Sherry) Curtis of Menasha; three grandchildren: Jack, Krystal, and Kassidy Rinehart; two nephews: Steve Anderson of Eau Claire and his daughter Christina, and Scott Anderson of Black River Falls, as well as many relatives in the Florence area, as well as from Canada to Florida.

Arlene enjoyed painting, sewing and crafts, playing bridge, and children. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
