There are far to many memories to list, they go back to when I was just a little girl. Auntie Ardie will always be in our prayers and in our hearts.

Aunt Ardyce was always a fun loving, life of the party type of person. As kids, when we found out that we were going to visit Uncle Lee's and Aunt Ardi's in Appleton, we could not get there fast enough. We have such great memories playing the slots and shuffle board in the basement, there was never a dull moment. Through our busy adult lives, we were able to stay in touch with Ardyce and had the honor of purchasing her home in Appleton in 2004 It's been really great living here and getting to know her neighbors and have realized how well liked her and Lee were. Ardyce is a wonderful, kind person and we will miss her dearly.

Aunt Ardie will be missed a great deal. As a kid, I not only remember the fun of playing the slots and shuffleboard game in her & Uncle Lee's basement, but I remember sitting at DeBruin's bar, drinking kiddie cocktails, practicing my alphabet, making letters out of swizzle sticks. How's that for an education? I also remember she had the COOLEST bed I'd ever seen...the round bed! It was always a treat to visit with her. Her sense of humor was always like my gramma's...you could see why they were sisters and the best of friends. We will miss her and love her forever. Aunt Ardie, take care of Nana and Bumpa for me up there!

We will miss you Aunt Ardyce...Uncle Lee, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Verona, Uncle Bob and Uncle Archie all will be looking forward to playing some cards up there with you. We will always remember you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Ardyce will certainly be missed by all of you -- her family -- and by her friends. It was comforting, though, to know that she died peacefully. All her suffering is now over. I will always remember her as my "big cousin" in high school and how everyone loved her.
