Anthony J. "Tony" Schommer

April 1, 1959 — June 29, 2021

Anthony “Tony” James Schommer, age 62, of Higden, Arkansas, passed away June 29, 2021.  Tony was born on April 1, 1959, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Orville and Mary Schommer.

Anthony was a loving son, brother, husband, and uncle.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Jane Couillard Schommer,  his brothers Pat (Char) Schommer of Little Chute, Wisconsin,  Jeff (Chris) Schommer of Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin, his sister Barb (Bob) Hendricks of Little Chute, Wisconsin,  brothers-in-law Michael (Claudia) Couillard of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Joel (Barb) Couillard of Kimberly, Wisconsin, Tim (Carol) Couillard of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Bill Couillard, and Steve Marceau of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and his sister-in-law Susan (Will) Steuer of Kimberly, Wisconsin.  Tony is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law James and Glenna Couillard, his sister Mary Ann (Irv) Plate, and his sister-in-law Mary Jansen.

Memorial visitation for Tony will be held at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna, on Saturday October 2, 2021, from 10:00 to 12 Noon. Private interment at St. John’s Cemetery in Little Chute
