Prather, Ann Mary

Ann Mary Prather, age 59, of Appleton, died Saturday afternoon, May 28, 2005, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 29, 1945, to the late Ronald and Margaret (Driessen) Reetz, in Appleton where she was a resident most of her life. Ann graduated from Appleton High School-West, in 1964 and from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She had been employed by Valley School Supplies (The Gamut), Bridgekort Racquet Club (Club West), Foot and Ankle Associates, and West Corp. Ann loved being a mother and also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, crafts and was an avid Packer fan. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was highly involved with her class reunion committee.
Survivors include her husband, Mark E. Prather; her three children, Bryan R. (Tammy) Prather, Oshkosh; Samantha J. and Amanda A. Prather, at home; two grandchildren, Jory and Jamie Prather; her brother, Ronald (Barbara) Reetz, Nebraska; special friends, Dennis Graf and Sister Carol; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
The funeral liturgy for Ann will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at ST PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 West Marquette Street, with Father Donald Zuleger officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am, until the time of the mass. There will be a Parish Prayer and Scripture Service at 7:00 pm Tuesday.
