Ann Kay "Annie" Wojtkiewicz

March 16, 1963 — April 28, 2018

Ann Kay “Annie” Wojtkiewicz, age 55, passed away suddenly on April 28,2018. She was born in Kenosha, WI on March 16, 1963 to Edward and Marianne (nee Bakula) Wojtkiewicz. Annie lived in Kenosha, Burlington and then Waupaca, WI, and most recently Appleton, WI. Annie attended schools at St. George Catholic school, Reuther High School and college at UW- Parkside where she studied for a Bachelors of Art.

Annie worked as a home health aide assisting young children and elderly that were disabled. Annie loved visual art, good rock music and being around nature.
She contacted Lyme Disease, and through her illness, became knowledgeable and outspoken on the subject.

Annie was bright, compassionate, quirky, and had a dry sense of humor. We could always count on her for an unusual perspective. Annie would love to know she passed during the full moon of April. An auspicious and significant celebration, with people all over the world celebrating the birth, enlightenment, and death of Buddha. May she have a safe and peaceful passage.

Annie is survived by her brother John (Ann) Wojtkiewicz of Kenosha, WI, sister Karen (Lyn) Fandrei, of Kenosha, WI and her sister Kathie (Michael) Wojtkiewicz of St. Paul, MN. She has two nieces, two nephews and ten great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loving life partner, Royal “Roy” King; his children Mariah (Kevin) King and son Deckard and Elora (Kyle) King and their daughter Oswin, and mother-in-law Sylvia (the late Wescott) King. Annie “Psuedo grandma” absolutely loved her beautiful grandchildren.

Annie is preceded in death by her loving parents, Marianne Wojtkiewicz (Bakula) and Edward Wojtkiewicz.

Private services will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lyme Disease Foundation, Inc. (www.aldf.com) in Annie’s name are appreciated.
