Anita Paris, age 83, of Menasha, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Oakridge Gardens. She was born on March 20, 1931 in Waupaca, the daughter of the late Edwin and Bernice (Tarr) Cartwright. Anita married Lloyd Paris on July 15, 1950 in Waupaca. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed camping. Anita enjoyed playing poker, Rummy, gambling, and a brandy old fashioned. She loved being around family and friends and making people laugh.
Anita is survived by her daughters: Sue (Dan) Lingnofski, Phyl (Dan) Smith, and Becky (John) McMahon; grandchildren: Lori (Tom) Jensen, Joe (special friend Brenda) Lingnofski, Jodi (Ben) Hulke; Emily Smith; great grandchildren: Dylan, Zach, Abby, Hannah, Hunter, Wil, Molly, Stone, Conner, and Allison; brothers: Melvin (Donna) Cartwright and Sam (Betty) Cartwright. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Paris and her siblings, Jerry (Elaine), Clarence (Betty), Mary Lou (Roger) Flater, and Leslie (Mabel) Cartwright and her granddaughter, Angella Wilz.
The funeral service for Anita will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Rev. Gary Nokleberg will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at Hatton Cemetery, Weyauwega. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
