Age 90, died in Appleton on Friday, September 05, 2003. She was born in Little Chute on April 2, 1913, daughter of the late Jacob and Christine (Vandeweyer) Van Hammond. Angie married Martin Van Roy on November 4, 1931. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1970. She then married Wilbert “Bill” Vandeberg on November 22, 1975. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2002. Angie enjoyed working at the Kimberly Clark Clubhouse for at least 20 years and at St. Elizabeth Hospital as a nurse’s aid. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly.

Angie is survived by her children: Rose Schnese of Anchorage, AK, Dorothy (Leo) Van Drasek of Appleton, Darlene (James) Dorn of Kimberly, Bernard (Rita) Van Roy of Kimberly; and step daughter, Bernadine (Tom) Kelly of Prairie Du Chein; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sister, Josephine Sanderfoot of Kimberly, sisters-in-law: Wilma Van Hammond of Kimberly, Ann Van Hammond of Albuquerque New Mexico, and Joyce Van Roy of De Pere; brother-in-law, Harry (Delia) Van Roy of Kimberly. She is further survived by Bill’s two sisters and a brother, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Angie is preceded in death by her husband Martin, second husband Wilbert, parents, brothers: John (Myrtle), Joseph, Clarence “Bud”, and Earl; sister, Martha Rusch Van Heeswyk; son-in-law, Calvin Schnese; brother-in-law, Clarence Sanderfoot, and an infant brother. She is further preceded in death by brothers-in-law: John and Bernard Van Roy; sisters-in-law: Lucy (Al) Ver Bust, Harriet (Bob) Menting, Marie (Leo) Menting and Delia (Oscar) Weisner.

The funeral liturgy will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the liturgy. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
