Dear Marquardt Family and Friends..It is so difficult to lose someone you love so dearly.Knowing that God needs his little angels will help ease your troubled hearts. My daughter went to school with AJ, she didn't know him very personally, but the effect his passing left on her was devastating. She told me that he always had a smile on his face and seemed to be everyones friend. This world needs more AJ's in it! Just know that he touched many people's lives in a tender way. I'm certain none will ever forget him. As for me, I will hold each and everyone of you, including AJ, in my thoughts and prayers. Although I don't know you, please know that if there is ANYTHING you need don't ever hesistate to ask. Sometimes just a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen will do wonders. I feel for all of you. AJ is in a wonderful place now. God's Peace to him and to all of you! Mary George

Dear Marquardt family, Hello, I'm Morgan Haefner. I'm not sure your son really knew me, and I barely knew AJ myself, but he was in my spanish class this year. He always made the class laugh. I can remember on the 2nd or so day of school, Senora Tesh wanted someone "alto" (tall) to point at the letters. AJ was out of his seat at once. Soon everyone noticed he was no taller than Senora Tesh, and the whole class erupted with laughter. While singing the alphabet song, AJ couldn't stop laughing. I will always remember his smile :) It's very sad to see AJ's desk empty now in spanish class. My deepest sympathy goes out to AJ's family and his friends. AJ, I really wish i could have got to know you better. You, and your family and friends will be in my prayers. Sincerely, Morgan Haefern

Dear AJ and Family, I am Cami and i went to elementary and middle school with AJ. He was an amazing kid, everyone knew that just by being around him. It's hard for me to accept the fact that he is really gone from earth, but now he has made his way into heaven. AJ, you will never be forgotten and everyone misses you. The visitation wasn't easy i'll have to admit. It was really hard for lots of people to do. There was an amazing slide show of you and your childhood. Your grandmother said some very powerful words to me as she was hugging me. "I never want to let go of any of you because i never wanted to let go of AJ" From, Cami- a former peer and friend of AJ.

Hi. I am Amanda cox and i went to school with Aj at Madison, and had the privelege of getting to know him very well last year on the brainstorm team.Everyone should know what a great impact he had on my life. He had the talent to make anyone smile, no matter how their day had began.when i first heard the news about Aj all i could do was sit, stare, and cry. it was very hard for me to hear this, and only knowing him for a little over a year. i can not imagine what it would have been like for someone closer to him. My deepest sympathy for Aj's whole family. i am extremely sorry for your loss, but at least he is in a better place now.Like the paster at the funeral said, "Aj had a strong belief in god. all i can do at this point is reasure everyone that he is in heaven because he knew the lord." i am sure that is where Aj is now, and he is smiling down at us, waiting for april fools day to roll around!LOL! i love you aj and you are deeply missed.
