Alvina R. Neller

April 3, 1920 — February 17, 2008

Alvina “Cookie” Neller, nee Jansen, age 87, passed away Sunday February 17. Cookie was born in Little Chute on April 2, 1920, the daughter of Edward and Elsie Jansen, and lived most of her life in Appleton.
She was one of the original curlers at the Appleton Curling Club.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Michael) Linder of Grayslake Ill. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Zimmer, Gregory (Mary) Johnson, Sara (Brent) Kimbel and William Schroeder; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband George (Red) Siebers, second husband ventriloquist Robert Neller, her son George Siebers, Jr.and daughter Carol (Charles) Schroeder. Also preceding her in death were sisters, Gladys Marsh, twin sister Eleanor, Ceil Kneizic, two brothers Ralph Jansen and Norbert Jansen.
The memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, with Father Gerald Falk as celebrant. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church until the time of mass.
