Alvin V. "Al" Feavel

April 10, 1923 — March 25, 2015

Alvin Feavel, age 91, of Menasha, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. He was born on April 10, 1923 in Appleton, to the late Chester and Alice (Fulcer) Feavel. Al served his country for eight years during WWII in the U.S. Army. On June 21, 1958 he married Audrey Schrankel at St. Matthias Church in Milwaukee. Al was employed at Banta, now RR Donnelley for seventeen years. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2126 in Menasha.

Al is survived by his sisters Alice Langfeldt, Helen (Les) Ihasz, and Bonnie (Herb) Lederhaus; along with his special friend Ed “Louie” Lewitz. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Al was preceded in death by his father, his mother Alice Feavel-Smits, his wife Audrey and siblings Wally, Ron, Bob, Duke, Melvin, Ralph, Audrey, and Carol.

The memorial service for Al will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with the family receiving relatives and friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Deacon Rick Dvorak will be officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
